S.T. Jazz INC.. Ltd. was founded under Musical Director Sean Thomas in 2002, with a view to the promotion and education  of jazz music in Trinidad.  This will in turn create a forum in which local, and eventually international, musicians of the genre can perform. 

The company “kicked off” with a series in January 2003 entitled “Jazz on the Avenue”.  “Jazz on the Avenue” a series of performances was designed to showcase the talent of local  musicians in the country. This takes place twice monthly on Fridays at selected venues throughout Trinidad. 

Having recognized the wealth of talent in the country, musical director Sean Thomas embarked on a series entitled “Jazz n’ Poetry Jam”.  Similar to the  
“Jazz on the Avenue” series, this began in July ‘03 and brings poets and musicians together to showcase their talent.  (Review by Dappa Dee on July 8, 2003).
